Does LCode offer mobile banking and net banking for co-operative banks?

Yes. Digital Banking – Omni Channel is a mobile banking and net banking solution that provides mobile banking, net (internet) banking, agency banking and USSD banking for a bank's retail and corporate customers, and co-operative banks are one of the sectors LCode Technologies serves. Transactional digital banking at co-operative banks needs RBI's prior approval.

Which channels does LCode's omni-channel digital banking platform support?

Unified Payment Interface (UPI) & IMPS Switch

Is LCode an NPCI certified UPI switch and IMPS switch provider?

Yes. LCode Technologies' UPI & IMPS Switch is NPCI certified, with a Version 2.0 certified UPI switch and PSP app. It connects banks to NPCI for real-time UPI and IMPS payments. LCode launched its IMPS switch in 2014 and its UPI application in 2016.

What is the difference between IMPS and UPI?

IMPS is an instant, 24x7 interbank electronic fund transfer service operated by NPCI. UPI, which NPCI launched in 2016, runs on top of IMPS and lets users send or request money using a Virtual Payment Address (UPI ID). LCode's switch handles both on one platform.

Which IMPS transaction types does the switch support?

All IMPS messages: P2A, P2P, P2U and P2M. It also stores UTR numbers for transactions generated from mobile banking.

How does the switch connect to NPCI?

It communicates with NPCI over a socket-based channel, handles automatic log-on to the NPCI gateway, and processes inward payments and reversals in exception cases.

What UPI payments can customers make?

Customers can pay to a mobile number, an account number and IFSC, or a VPA; raise a collect request to an alias or virtual address held with another PSP or bank; pay for purchases made in merchant apps; and auto-authorize regular payments.

Does the switch support merchants?

Prosper (Digital CBS)

Is Prosper core banking software for NBFCs, microfinance software or gold loan software?

Prosper (Digital CBS) is LCode Technologies' digital core banking solution for NBFCs and microfinance institutions. It covers loan origination, loan management, collections and NPA recovery, and its 15 supported loan types include microfinance loans and gold loans, so NBFCs use it as their lending software for those products.

What is the difference between Prosper's LOS and LMS?

The Loan Origination System (LOS) handles onboarding up to approval: omni-channel onboarding, AI-enabled KYC extraction, KYC/AML verification, a configurable business rule and decisioning engine, and co-lending. The Loan Management System (LMS) runs the loan after approval: disbursement, repayment schedules, real-time EMI processing, interest rate management, collections and a borrower self-service portal.

Which loan types does Prosper support?

Auto loans, gold loans, MSME loans, personal loans, microfinance, BNPL, agri and equipment loans, education loans, working capital, business loans, consumer durables, two-wheeler loans, loan against property, loan against deposit and car leases.

Does Prosper support co-lending?

Yes. The LOS supports co-lending and works with multiple originators and lenders to provide loans to borrowers.

What repayment and interest structures can it handle?

Fixed, variable and bullet repayment schedules; fixed, floating and reducing-balance interest calculations; and product- and scheme-based interest rate configuration. EMIs are processed in real time with auto-debit, UPI and digital wallet integration.

How does Prosper handle collections and NPA recovery?

Loans are allotted centrally to staff and synced to their mobiles, where staff record calls and visits, collect cash or cheques and print receipts. The legal module tracks accounts that slip into NPA and generates recall notices, symbolic possession notices and sale auction notices, with caveat tracking, property valuation updates and a suit module.

Yes. mPassbook is a digital passbook, or e-passbook, app that banks offer their customers. It shows real-time details and transactions for savings, recurring deposit, fixed deposit and loan accounts, with statement generation and offline access.

Which account types does mPassbook show?

Savings (SB), recurring deposit (RD), fixed deposit (FD) and loan accounts, with their transactions and a consolidated asset and liability view.

Is mPassbook a mobile banking app?

No. LCode classifies mPassbook as a non-financial app: it shows account details and transactions like a passbook rather than moving money. For transactions, LCode offers its Digital Banking – Omni Channel platform.

Does mPassbook work offline?

Yes. mPassbook includes offline functionality, and account details and transactions update in real time when the app is connected.

How is mPassbook secured?

With an in-built MPIN, fingerprint or Face ID lock.

What does D-Secure protect a mobile banking app against?

D-Secure covers code tampering, reverse engineering, jailbroken and rooted devices, debuggers, remote access, malware infections, apps downloaded from third-party sources, potentially dangerous Android apps, compromised devices and Wi-Fi networks, and man-in-the-middle (MITM) and replay attacks.

Does D-Secure support SSL or certificate pinning?

Yes. D-Secure includes certificate pinning controls in its application binary layer and endpoint verification through SSL pinning in its network connectivity layer.

How does D-Secure protect data in transit and at rest?

The transport layer applies cryptography, end-to-end encryption and MITM and replay attack handling. The storage layer provides secure data storage and encryption of data in transfer.

Does D-Secure bind the app to a customer's device?
